Trek Fighter II is a simulated battle between the starship Enterprise and a Borg cube that takes place during the course of the Trekma game. While an obvious homage to Street Fighter II, it combined other genres as well, including two-dimensional shooters of the classic Defender line, and the modern minigame.
Gameplay
The lack of a health bar was either the result of inadequate programming or an uncompromising innovation that predated the likes of even Bushido Blade by years.
Characters
In keeping with Street Fighter II tradition, only the Enterprise is playable, which calls for speculation that a "Super" sequel would add the Borg to the roster.
