Trek Fighter II is a simulated battle between the starship Enterprise and a Borg cube that takes place during the course of the Trekma game. While an obvious homage to Street Fighter II, it combined other genres as well, including two-dimensional shooters of the classic Defender line, and the modern minigame.
Gameplay
The lack of a health bar was either the result of inadequate programming or an uncompromising innovation that predated the likes of even Bushido Blade by years.
Characters
- Enterprise—flagship of the Federation. In keeping with Street Fighter II tradition, only the Enterprise is playable, which calls for speculation that a "Super" sequel would add the Borg to the roster.
