THE TREKMA WIKI MAKES NO GUARANTEE OF VALIDITY

The Trekma Wiki is an online open-content collaborative encyclopedia, that is, a voluntary association of individuals—who are we kidding, it's mostly just the two of us—working to develop a common resource of our limited human experience and the knowledge that came with it, even if it's not everything that should have. The structure of the project allows anyone with an Internet connection and remembers what my favorite food is to alter its content. Please be advised that nothing found here has necessarily been reviewed by people with the expertise required to provide you with complete, accurate or reliable information, which certainly ought to make you wonder.

That is not to say that you will not find valuable and accurate information in the Trekma Wiki; much of the time you will. However, the Trekma Wiki cannot guarantee the validity of the information found here, nor, therefore, the frequency of successful discoveries. The content of any given article may recently have been changed, vandalized or altered by someone whose opinion does not correspond with the state of knowledge in the relevant fields or thinks he can get away with it because we live too far apart to bother traveling the distance to get even. Note that most other encyclopedias and reference works also have similar disclaimers.
