I haven't seen Bridget Jones' Diary, but me, I like to compare Samsoon to Muriel's Wedding. (Besides, Renée Zellweger isn't overweight. Then again, neither is 김선아, at least not grossly, although you're left to question if they weren't pressing the standards by casting her alongside an anorexic.) Tonight's the finale, but the saddest part is, it's been like a dozen episodes of untimely illnesses, coincidental run-ins, revocable breakups, etc., since we last saw the main character use her imagination. I remember such a scene in オトナの男, before things started happening for him and it never came up again, either, was what got me watching these shows to begin with.
