Speaking of taking pictures, I’ve been meaning to replace my old postage stamp-sized LCD digicam—not that there’s anything wrong with the ones it does, mind you, but 老婆’s right to complain about its load-time—and eyeing this HD movie-capable T-series Cyber-shot®. Then I discovered that the press release copied by Gizmodo was too good to be true, and the official version omits the promise of a “supplied 4GB Memory Stick™” (or was edited to); might be the psychological effect, but had they just raised the price by thirty bucks instead, I wouldn’t feel as let down. So as gimmicky as high-speed photography might prove to be, I’ve since turned my sights towards the Casio Exilim EX-FH20, two hundred more, four if you don’t count my points redemption.
