I had convinced myself to put off upgrading from my 3G until this year’s new one, but news is it’ll be larger than ever, and while I used to think that a cellular-equipped iPad would be the ideal solution, maybe the smaller form factor of years gone by is worth revisiting. This Sony Ericsson might allow me to explore Android, and I seem to have only have fond memories of the T610. Choices change; the decisions don’t.

Watched the live-action remake of 宇宙戦艦ヤマト this weekend, and wasn’t let down much. If anything, it was too faithful to the source material, like Watchmen, but at least they didn’t have to blow up Vulcan for the widescreen. They even threw in one of the most memorable scenes from my youth——though theirs didn’t come close. (The uncensored original fills in the gaps.) Was really special, wasn’t it? I remember reading where some of Star Wars came from, but nothing’s more deserving of its share of the credit.

Try this next time, preferably after a months-long hiatus from running. If it’s anything like yesterday, I probably won’t be recovering for the “after” shot a week later. If ever at all.
