As much as I liked Darren Aronofsky’s previous work, I haven’t picked up Iris’s costly Blockbuster rental downstairs (using it instead, to justify our Netflix trial); our eponymous titular character is instead the [other] former state governor from Predator, who KFC’s the chickenhawks on Larry King.

Worse that a man was killed this time, but instead of tracking down the culprit and trashing his house, there go the savages again, taking it out on innocent people in their own neighborhoods. Mob mentality is truly an oxymoron.

Chris forwarded a link the other day of Matt Damon calling out Sarah Palin about Jurassic Park (also strangely enough, coinciding with a clip from Good Will Hunting Ed Kless showed which IMO pretty much destroys the libertarian myth of self-sufficiency), Roger Ebert pulls a Michael Medved, and Lynda Carter herself goes bat-shit insane on her ass, but the funniest celebrity endorsement goes to John McCain himself: “She knows more about energy than probably anyone else in the United States of America.” So it’s either VP or go work on the Hadron Collider, right? Me, I’m no Alec Baldwin, but if enough people in this country would rather vote these two jokers in, I’m with 老婆’s foodie blogger‘s husband and moving to Taiwan, too.
