Wasn’t anywhere I went this weekend, but someone mentioned seeing it at a Target in La Verne on like the 20th page of tweets; I’d update the community if I could only remember my login. Wouldn’t you know it wasn’t available in cans, as deceptively advertised—

$3.33 per case is a sale?
—but I did find 99¢ 20-oz. bottles in one of the fridges near checkout. Peanut gallery consensus seems to be that it tastes flatter, supported by the lack of bubbles along the brim, there in the Voltage I opened earlier this morning… this is in its favor, as far as I’m concerned, given my preference for days-old Dew. Citrus flavor is more prominent as well, prompting a comparison to the old Mello Yello competitor. Less sugars and sodium aside, what’s interesting is that the per-bottle calorie figure comes closer (280 vs. 290) to the per-serving calculation. But will this be enough to make up for their logo flop? Looks more like an ass-crack to me.
