Cable vs. DSL

It's about time I cleaned house, and while this small act of decision-making leaves pretty much all the clutter intact (and then some, seeing as how it extends into two storages), cable must go. And with it, 10+ years of Earthlink. No big loss, as they've done nothing all this time to earn my customer loyalty. It's too bad service providers like them don't think in these terms. Choice came down to keeping static IP DSL with no observable difference in bandwidth and a setup charge that's already paid for, and sticking with Time Warner who continue to gouge me with their TV tiers.
