Got through watching the newly-retrofit Star Trek episode, "Balance of Terror." Integrated into the original footage well enough, without any ridiculous George Lucas-style CG alien crew members in the background. (And no, they didn't replace Mark Lenard's face with someone else's since Sarek couldn't possibly be the twin of a Romulan ship captain.) The thing I remember the most about it before tonight, though, was the hottie who loses her fiancé, and now reminds me of Bobbie Phillips, but then again, I've just come back from Asia so all White people look the same to me.

Speaking of Georgie-boy, I also spent the jetlagged weekend with the recent DVD re-releases of Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back. I guess I'm not as picky about the transfers, which at least also save me the trouble of flipping and switching out LD's, but way to relegate my memories of them to "bonus" discs with none of the classic artwork and previews of some shit game.
