Had a dream this morning that I was in the hold of a ship, and saw a small animal emerge from a pile of dirt, slowly taking form as it shook the stuff off. It appeared to be a cat, and chasing its own baby for food, the thought not so shocking, I was supposed to accept, in the animal kingdom. When all their activity had completely cleaned their fur, the larger of the two turned out to be a mouse! This food chain reversal somehow upset my outlook on the status quo, but as I approached to help the kitten, its captor reacted and stuffed it into its mouth, bottom first, and tried swallowing it whole.

Earlier I had one that's more recurring, about looking out the window and certain to see a mysterious figure lurking. It used to scare me, but lately it has gotten old (or I have), and I've been testing my tolerance by forcing the moment. The silhouette of something similar to a Scooby Doo/Johnny Quest mummy shows up, and I motion outside to bring it on.

I woke up from all this rapid eye movement and wondered if there was a market for a drug or device that would make people dream more, but then realized, what a disastrous effect this might have on their sleep every night.
